Sunderland professional Kirk Goodings has bagged a contract with Britain’s leading promoter Frank Warren after parting ways with his former promotion team Maloney Promotions.

After finding himself without direction Kirk stumbled across a contest dubbed ‘X Factor meets the boxing world’ on the boxing website www.boxrec.com.The contest was arranged by Tunde Ajayis’ Stamina for Sale team and the grand prize was a four fight contract with Warren Promotions. Kirk said: “After my last contract ended I found myself out in the wilderness but stumbled on the contest and decided to give it ago, at worst it would still have been a good experience.”
